Murmli water world

Located right at the Laustalbach brook, the mountain brook of the Serfaus Komperdell area, lies the Murmli water world. A family world of experience in and at the water with pumps, bridges, wells, water wheels, sandpits, brooks to build barrages and pools to play.

Jumping and playing in the mud, a mixture of earth, sand and water, we in the Tyrol call “Gatsch”, is great fun. The mascot “Murmli” is also always around. No kid will stay dry! Parents are advised to bring extra sets of clothing to the Murmli water world.

There is more to the Murmli water world than water fun. There is also a rock labyrinth, a model boat race track, a marmot enclosure, a family picnic tower and a lot more.

Another highlight is the Murmli cave: A 200m-long cave system for young and old Murmli researchers and explorers – with different access points, walk-in tunnels and a vantage platform in the middle.

At the marmot zoo you can observe marmots at close distance. If you are lucky, you might even hear the characteristic whistling of these very shy animals. Speaking of observing: Parents can easily keep an eye on their kids. From the sun loungers a bit higher up or from the Murmli beacon with picnic area for families.

Adventures make you hungry. At the Murmli water world is the big family BBQ spot. On request, everything will be set and prepared for your BBQ party next to the mountain brook.
