Fiss is not only a small mountain village, quiet, tranquil and sunny, but also wonderfully familiar. It is also home to "Berta's Kinderland" and the Fiss ski school.
Fiss lies in the middle of a sunny plateau near Landeck, 500 metres above the valley floor at 1,436m above sea level, between Serfaus and Ladis. 37.7 km² in size, 1,007 inhabitants live here - just under 25 Fiss residents per km² of Fiss, from which it can be concluded: Fiss is a mountain village, quiet, tranquil and sunny and so wonderfully familiar. Despite all the upswing in recent years, the many new family hotels and attractions for holidays in summer, autumn and winter, Fiss has remained a village at heart.
