Tirol lies between Italy and Germany, between South Tyrol and Bavaria. Almost everyone knows Innsbruck, our provincial capital. Landeck is also well known. It is the last major town before heading up the Arlberg. Not far from Landeck, close to the Swiss border, behind the seven mountains,
lies our winter paradise Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. A natural paradise that invites you to go skiing, winter hiking, cross-country skiing or tobogganing.

It is said in - well-informed - children's circles that fairy tales come true behind seven mountains. Because nobody knows exactly where these seven mountains really are, we recommend our high plateau for family holidays.

The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis holiday region is located in the Oberland in the west of Tyrol, on the sunny plateau (1200 - 1440m), high above the Inntal valley near Landeck, surrounded by the Ötztal Alps - and at the top of the popularity scale for families in search of holiday happiness. Our holiday region consists of three villages, Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis. In 1999, these three villages joined together to form a ski region. The Serfaus ski area + the Fiss ski area + the Ladis ski area = Tyrol's ski dimension with a total of 214 kilometres of slopes, excellent ski schools and ski kindergartens.

More than just a ski resort

The whole is more than the sum of its parts, winter is more than skiing.
Anyone planning a trip to the sunny plateau can expect Tyrol's ski dimension to open up new dimensions not only in terms of skiing and ski holidays, but also in terms of winter and winter holidays in general.

Even if you might not think about it straight away, cross-country skiing is also excellent here in the Alps. Tobogganing is just as much a part of the winter fun as extensive winter hikes or ski tours. Travelling to this region of Tyrol is definitely worth a recommendation, but read for yourself.

Serfaus in the winter
