A total of 35 mountain bike routes are already marked and secured according to the latest guidelines and are just waiting for "your turn". Some people claim, not without justification, that our region is one of the leading mountain bike areas in Tyrol. Mountain bikers can "pedal" 70 kilometres here and collect thousands of metres in altitude - including racy downhill routes, single trails, hill climbs and panoramic routes.
So it's no wonder that the mountain bike elite also like to meet in Fiss. Not only are the conditions here ideal for perfect training, but several international downhills and dual slaloms also take place here.
If you are overwhelmed by so many casual mountain bike routes, you can simply download the maps of the Mountain Bike Arena onto your mobile phone. So nothing stands in the way of an unforgettable Tyrolean mountain bike holiday.
As a family hotel, however, we also like to take a breather and direct our attention (and our bikes) to enjoyable mountain bike tours for the whole family. There are some particularly beautiful ones here on the sunny plateau. Family tours through the scenic landscape,
that are also easy for children to navigate are our speciality.
Pleasure tours, without any gradients worth mentioning and mostly on tarmac, meandering through the magnificent landscape, are ideal for this. Of course, they are not as steep as the mountain bike trails.
But they also have beautiful vantage points and rest stops for a cosy break.
There are also one or two inns along the route. As the cable cars here also have a heart for cyclists, the most beautiful routes can also be experienced by families with children.
