Hiking with children in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is particularly varied and fun for the whole family. We have numerous play and adventure trails for children of all ages,
Themed trails and nature trails.

But with so much to choose from, which route should we discover first?
Involve us in the planning! We will be happy to advise you and recommend the right hiking trail for your outing with the whole family, depending on your wishes, the weather and the time of year.

Our themed trails - an experience for everyone!

Enjoy the view - on the Panorama Pleasure Trail

The Panorama Pleasure Trail is suitable for buggies and stretches across the entire sunny plateau. If you walk along it, you will be rewarded with marvellous views. This trail is now the most important connecting path between Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis at around 1,900 metres above sea level. This is a leisurely and enjoyable hike. Time and again you come across stations with hammocks and loungers that invite you to linger and enjoy.

A pearl in the mountains - Lake Wolfsee

A walking and relaxation trail for the whole family leads around the "Wolfsee", a reservoir in a fantastic location in Fiss. The circular trail runs romantically through the gently undulating landscape and is worth exploring for the eyes alone. Deciduous and larch forests alternate with meadows and fields of flowers. The flora is varied and marvellous and the mountain peaks are reflected in the clear waters of the lake.

The entire path is wide and safe so that families with pushchairs or wheelchair users can use it safely. Small feel-good spots have been set up along the edge of the path to relax and unwind. Around 40 ergonomic loungers, plus hammocks, hanging chairs and spring chairs allow walkers to enjoy nature to the full and relax.

Whether to the bear cave or up to the obstacle course - on the tour around Wolfsee lake, young visitors are whisked away into the animal world of the mountains. Everything revolves around the three wild animals bear, lynx and wolf. The children are taught about their way of life and behaviour in a playful way in the form of experience stations. In addition to information boards and reading tracks and traces, your senses are also challenged.

Varied circular routes

The Sonnenbahn cable car takes you to the neighbouring village of Ladis. A short, buggy-friendly circular trail starts there at the village centre: the play and adventure trail. The water trail also starts here. However, it is more suitable for older children and leads from the beautiful village centre up to Obladis, where the local mineral water "Tiroler Sauerbrunn" has its source.

Hiking is fun for children, as various water games provide variety on the uphill hike. Once you arrive in Obladis, you will find the ideal place for a short or longer break. An insider tip: be sure to try the homemade ice cream!

The family adventure trail

The family adventure trail offers the perfect combination of fun and nature experience for young and old!
2 hours full of exciting puzzles and fantastic views await you.
The easiest way to get there is via the Möseralmbahn cable car, which takes you to the Fisser Sommer Funpark.
Then it's a short stretch along the Panorama Genussweg to the Sunliner.
The signs will then guide you directly to the "Family Adventure Trail" in the Beutelwald forest.

The "Six Senses" pleasure trail

You should reserve a whole day if you want to walk steeply down from the Serfauser Komperdell to Madatschen using all your senses. You will need at least four hours for the "Six Senses" pleasure trail. But it's worth it. This themed trail is a top-class nature experience.
Discovering nature while appealing to all the senses delights young and old alike. Seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, tasting and experiencing illusions,
that's hiking on the "Six Senses" themed trail.

Further hiking tips

For mountain hikes with older children who are already good on their feet and love narrow paths, we also have a few tips for you. The red cable car - the Schönjochbahn - takes you up to the Fisser Joch at 2,400 metres above sea level. This is the ideal starting point for your first alpine tours with your children.

From here, the "Alpenrosenweg" trail leads to the Schöngamp-Alm - particularly beautiful, of course, during the blooming season of the protected alpine roses in June / July.
On the south side of the ridge you will find the "Adlerweg", which leads from the Fisser Joch to the Serfauser Komperdell and is also ideal for gaining your first mountain experience.
The "Spinnseenweg" trail leads from the Fisser Joch in the direction of Sattelkopf down into the Urgtal valley. It takes five hours to walk across the Spinnseen lakes to the Schöngamp Alm.
Fortunately, there are mountain bikes for hire at the Schöngamp Alm and you can cycle back to Fiss along the 14-kilometre forest trail. A pleasure after a long hike.
